Repeated Static, Unwritten Pages

Finally a picture of both of my tattoos :)
The lightning bolt is for Harry Potter (featured in my poster in the background) and also for my love of thunderstorms. The stars next to it are found at the corners of every page in the Harry Potter books and they match the stars that Mads got as part of her tattoo :)
The tree is the White Tree of Gondor from Lord of the Rings. Not only does this tree symbolize my love of LotR, but it also symbolizes one of the many things that my dad and I have in common, so it is partially a tribute to him as well. And finally, whenever I get anxious and start to freak out I picture a tree that breathes in and out with me until I calm down, and now I always have that tree with me inside and out. I love this tattoo more than I can express, I am incredibly happy with it.
To me, tattoos are simply an expression of myself that have always been there under my skin, waiting to be brought forth. My tattoos that I have now and the ones I will get in the future are me, and they are already a part of me, I was just ready for the rest of the world to see me like I do.
